Relaunched Meetin.gs Takes the Hassle Out of Meeting Communication

Posted · 10 Comments

Meetings-promoWe listened to our users and as a result, our new product puts a stronger focus on the mobile worker. Relaunched Meetin.gs includes:

iPhone and Android application to access meeting information on the go. Users can easily see meeting time, location, participants and view any materials attached to the meeting and even join a Skype call.

Meeting Timeline view makes it easy to browse past and upcoming meetings and meeting-related tasks.

Meet Me pages enable users to create and publish personalized calendar pages to make it easier to schedule meetings. The individually branded page automatically blocks out occupied time slots based on the user’s calendar and allows to pre-define meetings’ location, duration and preferred transit time between meetings.

Browser extension for Chrome adds a Schedule Meeting button to some of the top business tools and services: LinkedIn, Google Calendar, Gmail, Highrise, with more to be added later. The button enables to instantly schedule a meeting with all the relevant information extracted from the third party services.

With the newly added features, we are offering a truly unified meeting communication solution that acts as the central stage from which to quickly set up and connect participants before, during and after the meeting. The service sends automated reminders and notifications and is integrated with live communication tools such as Skype to facilitate online meetings. Follow-up meetings can be organized with a single click.

“Meetings in the business world notoriously tend to be time-sinks”, comments Teemu Arina, Meetin.gs founder and CEO. “We want to help professionals to cut down on administrative tasks around meetings while keeping everything necessary easily available from any device”.

“A new timeline approach, new mobile UX, and the idea of ‘meeting pages’ is the concrete result of listening closely to early users, and rethinking the tool’s value top to bottom.”
– Stowe Boyd, GigaOM Pro

“Meetin.gs has now become the little Rolls Royce for people who are fanatical about having timely, organized and productive meetings, and I wouldn’t hesitate a second to recommend it to anyone.”
– Robin Good, Master New Media

Our relaunched product was showcased at The Next Web conference on April 26th in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and won the award for the “Best Web App” in the Startup Rally.

  1. Kiitos hienosta ideasta.

Is the video via Skype only? I know some have HD Video conferencing built in.

      Hi Daisy,

At the moment our video is handled by Skype integration. Although it is on our roadmap to look into various alternative possibilities as well.
